Services OfferedVenous Insufficiency
Consultation with Dr. Pierre Larose
Evaluation, vein mapping, development of a personalized treatment plan, and follow-up to improve blood circulation in your legs and treat varicose veins.
Doppler Ultrasound
A Doppler ultrasound is an essential tool for accurate venous and vascular medicine diagnosis. It allows for an in-depth evaluation of veins, arteries, and blood flow.
Sclerotherapy
Sclerotherapy involves closing a varicose vein by injecting a solution that scleroses its walls. This treatment, sometimes cosmetic, reduces the appearance of varicose veins under the skin. Injections are performed using liquid or foam, and patients see visible improvements after the first session.
Outpatient phlebectomy
A technique to remove surface veins that are too large for sclerotherapy, aiming to improve the appearance and comfort of the lower limbs.
Saphenous Vein Ablation by Radiofrequency
An endovenous treatment performed under local anesthesia, with no work stoppage, allowing for a quick return to daily activities.
Services OfferedAtherosclerotic Vascular Diseases
Carotid Stenosis Screening and Diagnosis
Narrowing of the carotid artery can lead to cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), commonly known as stroke. Often asymptomatic, it must be detected through a physical examination and diagnosed using ultrasound.
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening and Diagnosis
Localized enlargement or dilation of at least 150% of the abdominal aorta’s diameter. Sometimes discovered during abdominal palpation, an abdominal ultrasound can confirm the diagnosis and monitor the condition.
Peripheral Arterial Disease Diagnosis
Peripheral arterial disease is a blockage of the arteries carrying oxygenated blood from the heart to the legs. It may cause leg pain or fatigue following exertion. Peripheral arterial disease can be diagnosed at the clinic using an arterial Doppler ultrasound.
